I choose to paint in oil color because it has the quality of lasting for centuries and it maintains itself quite well without any treatment or care. Oil paint is also really bright and pleasant with the peculiar texture that characterizes my art.
 
About the artist: 
I’m Sam, Venetian by birth, adopted by Ireland. I am a visual artist and freelance illustrator. I get inspired by the Irish countryside, animals and landscapes. I also focus on portraits and custom pieces. 

My Main medium is Oil Color with which I could develop my own personal style. 
I have been featured in the Irish Independent, in Totally Dublin Magazine, on RTÉ among others and my works are part of several collection and art galleries in Ireland (such as the People's Art, the Incognito art Project etc) and abroad.
